Tour Program
" A Great Combination of Natural and Historical Sites "
Ephesus is one of the great outdoor museums in Turkey, perhaps the world. The ruins of Ephesus are a favourite international and local tourist attraction, partly owing to their easy accessibility from the airport in Izmir and via the port of Kusadası.
It is located to the south of Izmir's Selcuk County. Ephesus was one of the seven churches of Asia cited in the Book of Revelation. It was a coastal city with a population of 1/4 million. Ephesus became the second largest city of the Roman Empire.
Ephesus contains the largest collection of Roman ruins in the eastern Mediterranean. Only an estimated 15% has been excavated.
